You may have received notice from Sage recently, that an updated version of your Sage 300 ERP software is available. The latest version is version 6.2, 2014, and Sage recommends that you have your software installed by your Sage Certified Installer, which is Abenaki.
Abenaki can provide you with a proposal to upgrade you to the latest version and also provide some implementation training to ensure everyone is comfortable with the new features of the software. If you currently have a proposal to upgrade from us, you should really consider this as support and updates for Sage version 5.6 & earlier have been discontinued.
This latest version has exciting features, such as:
-Completely re-designed icons and desktop
-printing GL Transactions from multiple fiscal years in the same report
-Improved management of Lanpaks
-Ability to reverse an entire GL batch
-Visual Process Flows (including payroll): A picture is worth 1000 words. These new graphical interfaces make Sage easier to navigate for the experienced and novice user
-Sage Advisor: Receive notifications when a new product or service pak is available…and many more
For those of you that have the Payroll Module, please note there was no July 2014 tax table update this year, the most recent update was January 2014.
