July 2013 Tax Table Instructions

Hi Folks…

Below are some steps to download the Canadian version of the July 2013 tax table; at the bottom there is a link to download the Tax Update notice for your review:

Before you begin, the first two steps are crucial:

1. Make sure all users have exited the program

2. Backup your Sage 300 ERP data (database dump)

3. Click or paste this link into your browser to download the appropriate version of the tax table update:

Version 7.0: CT7.0E

Version 6.0: CT6.0F

Version 5.6: 5.6H

OR if the current version you are using is not listed above go to step 4.

4. Log onto the Sage customer portal to access the latest updates. Choose the update appropriate for your company and click ‘Get the Update’.  [Please note to log onto the Sage Customer portal click here: https://customers.sagenorthamerica.com/ .  If you are unsure how to login or if this is your first time logging in you can contact Sage directly: 800-253-1372 choose option 3.

5. Once the download is complete, double click the file to begin the installation for the update and follow the instructions on the screen.

6. Now you can open Sage Accpac and activate the July 2013 tax table you just installed. To do this, sign in as the Admin user and go to Administrative Services and click on the Data Activation icon and select the Cdn PR Tax Update for July 2013 item, then click activate.
